little wonders

could i be the most inconsistent blogger ever? sorry, kids. i get distracted by real life and forget that the internet exists.

anyway, i've been busy designing my first few classes at Your Happy Place... helping my friend kristi put together her kits... taking photos of my little brother on his way to the prom.... baking goodies for the big graduation party.... and of course, scrapping. making thank-you cards for graduates to give out, layouts for display at Your Happy Place, and the best kind: stuff that just comes cause the right piece of paper struck my eye or i heard the perfect most gut-hitting song lyric... i love that kind of playing. when the flow flows and you feel like you could go forever.

today, kristi and i went on a crazy adventure to this amazing nature preserve. of course we got lost like 42 times on the way there, making a twnety minute trip into a 2 hour one, but sitting on the beach, taking photos and eating granola bars & cheese with miss chloenstein was so worth all the travel trouble. i just laid in the sand feeling the sun on my face and breathing deep and i felt like i was coming alive.

now i'm home and i'm all inspired and i should definitely be getting a good night's sleep but this one song keeps popping into my head and i made some layouts of it and here they are.
