it's time

time for new chucks. always a bittersweet time for me. my emotional attachment to my shoes is intense. i loved these ones, they had a good run. note the blue stars i doodled along the side, along with art by my sister Catherine and my friend Andi. these aren't getting chucked (ok, i'm sorry but i could NOT resist)- they'll be hanging around for a while, but they are officially retired. holes in the toes and a leaning toward the stinky. the new ones arehigh tops- pretty fly, but as always, they'll take some loving in. here's to old friends, and good shoes.
